FUJITO20周年企画の第1弾として、スワンマークが入った長崎凧をご紹介します。
この長崎凧というものは長崎に昔から伝わるもので、3月から5月の春風にのせて揚げる春の風物詩です。
長崎では凧を'タコ'ではなく'ハタ'と呼ばれていて、あがるということで家に飾ると縁起の良いものとして親しまれています。
今回はそんな'ハタ'を使ったFUJITOの20周年アイテムを作りました。
FUJITOのトレードマークであるスワンマークを、和紙を使った切り絵細工で職人の方が一点一点手作業で作っていただいています。
FUJITOのスワンマークも羽ばたく瞬間を表現したもので、'ハタ'と同じくあがるというところでより縁起が良さそうですね。
このFUJITOの'ハタ'は飾り用で、カラーは白と黒の2タイプになります。

Introducing the Nagasaki-Hata (the Nagasaki Flying Kite) with our trademark “the Swan”, as one of the first special products for FUJITO 20th Anniversary.
This Nagasaki-Hata is one of the traditional events and traditional crafts that has been handed down from generation to generation, the locals fly this “Hata” (a kite) between March and May on the Spring Breeze. A kite is called in a different way in Nagasaki (West part of Kyushu Island) it’s called ” Hata '' ( meaning a flag). In Japan, when we fly a kite, we say “make it raise” or “let’s lift it up” . Those words have the same meaning of raising one’s fortune. So it’s believed that happiness will be brought to you when you display this Hata in your house.
Crafted the Swan logo, utilizing a Japanese traditional paper, a paper-cutting and with care by craftsmen piece by piece.
Our Swan logo expresses “fluttering'' so as the Hata. It might bring you happiness.
The “Hata” is only for display not for a fun.
