濱瀬元彦による1986年発表の名盤を再レコーディングした一枚。
日本のエレクトロニック、ジャズ、ニューエイジミュージックの再発見は、かつてないほどの盛り上がりを見せています。すでに多くの再発が世界中のレコード店にあふれているなかで、日本の多様な音楽文化においてまだまだ未達の領域があります。

例えば、日本のベーシスト、ニューエイジ、アンビエントミュージシャンの浜瀬元彦の作品もそうです。彼が1970年代にプロのミュージシャンになり、すぐにスタジオミュージシャンとして成功しました。Isao Suzuki Sextetのメンバーとなり、ピアニストのTsuyoshi Yamamotoや唯一無二のギターリストKazumi Watanabeらと共演します。

1980年代にHamaseはジャズからゆっくりと離れ出し、自分自身と彼の音楽的ビジョンをニューエイジ、アンビエントや実験的な電子音楽と融合し、軽快で心地よいサウンドとアレンジによるベースを演奏する瞑想的な方法を取り入れました。

彼の最初のソロアルバム「インタリオ」は、日本のニューエイジアンビエントの重要な起点であるだけでなく、ジャズのようには聞こえない新鮮な音の旅でもありました。スタジオミュールは、1986年の彼の素晴らしい再録音を発表することを嬉しく思います。
